I have a few dozen other projects I work on. Here are some of them.
I’m one of the organizers of the Magickal Marketplace & Psychic Faire, one of New England’s largest metaphysical events, with three days of live music and dance, dozens of classes and lectures, over a hundred vendors and psychic readers, plus much more fun for the whole family. My partner Beth (together as Haunted Moon Productions) handles the venue, vendors, and staff. I handle the performers and presenters, scheduling, and advertising.
Samhain is the Celtic new year, which marks the final harvest, and when the veil between the world of the living and the dead is at its thinnest. Celebrate Samhain is another festival similar to the MM&PF. I help out with various stuff including maintaining the website and occasionally MCing the stage.
I was a founding member of ASP, a 501c3 charity based in New Hampshire that manages 40+ acres for retreat and festival space, small scale sustainable agriculture, and housing the homeless while they transition back into permanent housing. I sat on the board for many years, and still help out as a consultant.
I also occasionally pitch in where needed for my local UU church, scouting groups, and a couple other worthwhile organizations.
I write some editorials and short fiction. Some appear on this site. I also wrote a book about ceremonial objects and ritual tools, which I may someday get around to shopping around for a publisher.
I’m also a big lover of tabletop roleplay, card, and board games, and have a few that I’ve been working on developing for a while. Someday they may get finished and made available, but in the meantime, you might see the occasional post about gaming stuff.
